XC Ski Sahalie Falls and Environs

Winter conditions appear to be holding for Sahalie Falls area. Snow conditions may still be a little sparse. We will ski the falls area and possibly Bennett Pass (3-5 mi 300-500 ft elev. gain.) Intermediate skiers will be self directed. If we encounter icing or crunchy snow, leader will bring baling twine chains to convert your skis to snowshoes. If descent is overly fast, leader will also have drag chains to slow you down.

For carpool, meet at 8:30 am Wed. at Troutdale old town parking, just north of Main St.
