XC Ski – Beginner, Intermediate – Cross Town Trail, Govt. Camp, OR

Winter appears to finally have arrived, but may not last very long Sooo, if you would like to ski, please note. Snow conditions may still be a little sparse. We will ski from Glacier View Snowpark over to Summit Ski area, have a break) and return via our tracks (5.6 mi RT 4,100 ft elev. gain.) Note: we will not be crossing Hwy 26. If we encounter icing or crunchy snow, leader will bring baling twine chains to convert your skis to snowshoes. If descent is overly fast, leader will also have drag chains to slow you down.

For carpool, meet at 8:30 am Sat. at Troutdale old town parking, just north of Main St.
