We will be working on the Kalama Trail between the Climbers Road and Red Rock Pass. Most trail tending parties involve light brushing, tree limbing, and the hanging of blue diamonds. Meet at Marble Mt. Sno-Park at 9:30 a.m. We will work until about 2:30 p.m.
What to bring: Bring a comfortable pair of gloves to protect your hands (gardening gloves work well). Wear long pants, a long sleeved shirt, and hiking boots. Have bug repellent and sunscreen. Bring a COVID mask, glasses or protective eyewear and work gloves.
ONC-PDX will provide tools and hard hats, but quantities are limited. If you have tools that you don’t mind sharing (pruning shears, long handled loppers, bow saws), feel free to bring them.
Finally, bring a lunch, snacks and lots of water, as you are sure to work up an appetite.
Each person or family unit must drive in separate cars ( SORRY no Carpools). Meet at the Marble Mt. Sno-Park at 9:30am.
