Trail Tending – Tilly Jane Ski Trail Upper Section

WHEN: 30-Sep-2022 / All Day

Bookings

Bookings closed

Join us to help maintain the ski trail to Tilly Jane. Meet at Tilly Jane Campground at 1:30 PM Friday, Sept. 30.  We will work for 3-4 hours. Then stay overnight for the wood haul on Saturday, driving home Saturday afternoon.

Most trail tending work parties involve light brushing, tree limbing, and the hanging of blue diamonds.  We’ll supply the tools and hardhats. Sign up below – select the number of spaces for all of the people in your party and provide their contact information where indicated.

What to bring: Bring a comfortable pair of gloves to protect your hands (gardening gloves work well). Wear long pants, a long sleeved shirt, hiking boots and protective eye wear.  Have bug repellent and sunscreen. Bring a COVID-19 mask. Finally, bring a lunch, snacks and lots of water, as you are sure to work up an appetite.

For overnight stay, those that want to sleep in the A-Frame need a pad and a sleeping bag, or bring a tent for the campground.  Bring food and drinks for meals (dinner and breakfast), stove and WARM clothes.
