Intermediate Skiing
Do you enjoy skiing without the crowds? Come join this mid-week trip at a wonderful 5 bed/5 bath house in Sunriver. This place is ideally located just off highway 97 making for a quick trip to the Mt. Bachelor ski area. There, we can choose to ski at Virginia Meisner, Swampy Lakes or Bachelor Nordic.
The house is a short drive to Sunriver Village for more entertainment or shopping. And, back by popular demand, Wednesday or Thursday night will be the Chocolate Fest. It’s always fun to see everyone’s favorite chocolate creation.
This trip is so flexible allowing for skiing on the way over and/or back, whether you drive over Mt. Hood or Santiam Pass. If the snow isn’t ideal there is always the High Desert Museum or other places in Bend. On the Sunriver grounds itself there are many walking trails. You could also check out the SHARC for alternative activities. So many options; so little time! Come join 9 of your Nordic Club friends for a fun time in a beautiful setting!
Trip limit: 10 participants, including the trip leader
Cost: $195 per person. Includes 3 nights lodging. Excludes cost of travel and meals.
Carpool miles: 360 miles round trip from Portland plus mileage to Sno-Parks.
