About the program:

“Adventures along the ALCAN highway to Alaska” – Jim Kress

Jim Kress was born in the Alaska Territory before it became a state in 1959. Having driven the ALCAN numerous times with his wife Jane since the 1970s, those trips have peaked their adventuring spirit every time. Whether it’s a three night stay with an Inuvialuit family in Tuktoyaktuk, the landing of a Cessna on a glacier in Denali National Park, observing First Nations children being taught carving skills on cedar planks, kayaking in a stream filled with salmon in southeast Alaska, wakening to the sunrise camped on the Arctic Circle, or just enjoying the unique culture of small towns along the way. Each of these have become lifetime memories.

Hope to see you in person or online!
