Let’s enjoy several hours together on the wonderful Banks-Vernonia Bike Trail, the first rails-to-trails bike trail in Oregon. Plans are to leave from the Manning Trailhead, shortly after the junction of the Sunset Hwy. (Highway 26) and Highway 47. The ride will be about 35 miles long, with some fairly gentle grades (except one), separated from traffic. This is planned to be a casual trip – not racing. We plan to stop in Vernonia for a snack or lunch at one of two great restaurants, before we return before it gets warm. The weather is expected to be (only) in the 80s. Limit of 10 people, including the leader.  We will be Covid safe

Please RSVP to Ted Scheinman, 503-914-9584 or by email at tedskier@gmail.com.
