Easy to Intermediate Skiing
Come enjoy Sunriver without the crowds by skiing “mid-week”, the first week of February 2023.
We will be staying in a large beautiful house where the club has stayed before. This place has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms plus common areas with good, open space so we won’t necessarily be bumping into each other. There is a hot tub to relax in after a “hard” day of skiing in one of the many beautiful ski areas available in the Mt. Bachelor area. Since this house has 2 king beds and 1 queen bed, it would be great if some couples sign up. Four twin beds are available as well.
The area around Sunriver offers a variety of places to ski, ranging from beginner to intermediate. From lowest elevation (Edison Butte) to highest elevation (Bachelor Nordic groomed area for a fee). Many areas offer several trail systems for short or long loops, including Virginia Meissner Nordic, Swampy Lakes, and the Dutchman Flats backcountry.
On this trip, fun will be mandatory and chocolate will be optional.

Cost: $180/member, per person. Includes 3 nights lodging. Excludes cost of travel and meals.
Carpool miles: 380 miles round trip from Portland plus more miles to ski areas.
