The famous July 4th bike trip returns to Victoria, Canada!

Plans are to drive to Port Angeles on Wednesday, July 3, take the 12:15pm (or 5:20pm) ferry to Victoria with only our bicycles (current valid passport required for entry to/from Canada). We will check in at our rooms at the University of Victoria in Victoria (in single-bed rooms in suites with bathrooms and kitchens).

For the next three days, we will ride bicycles on Vancouver Island – The Galloping Goose Trail, the Lochside Trail, the Interurban Rail Trail, and possibly more. Then we will take the 10:30am ferry back to Port Angeles on July 7 and drive back to Portland, missing all the holiday traffic! The cost for lodging is estimated to be only $360 per person — a real bargain for Victoria! We plan to have at least one potluck dinner – perhaps more.

You can sign up below starting Wednesday, May 1 at 10 AM.  Limit is 16 people – this trip usually sells out quickly!
