Volunteer for the John Craig Memorial Event

Saturday, March 14, 2026 is the annual John Craig event held in Sisters, Oregon. It typically draws hundreds of XC skiers from all over the state. Proceeds from this event help fund the Oregon High School XC Ski Racing Programs through OISRAN. Have a look at this video about this great program.

To put on an event like this it takes a lot of volunteer power. We are looking for some great people to help us out with this event! Please look over the opportunities and let us know your preference. You will still have time to participate and ski.

Specifics needs for some pre-event opportunities to get the word out are:

Marketing to advertise the event on social media, to other organizations and businesses etc.
Distribution of flyers to outdoor shops, community boards, Chamber of Commerce, etc.
