On Tuesday, a few of us from the Nordic Club headed up to Timberline to work on the Glade Connector Trail and the Timberline Nordic Bypass. I knew it was getting close to our last chance to do a little touch-up to the trails before the winter snows kick in. Our die-hard group of five spent the morning hanging blue diamonds and cutting small trees on the Alpine to Glade trail connector in about 2 inches of snow. After lunch, we pushed on and worked on the lower Timberline Nordic Bypass hanging blue diamonds and limbing trees. We had a great day working in the woods to get things ready for winter.
Many thanks to Keith Baker, Larry Risch, Mary Hepokoski, and Mary Green for helping out for the day!
