It’s that time of year to renew your ONC-PDX membership. Emails reminders will be sent out starting August 23. Your renewal enables you to continue enjoying all stuff Nordic that the club has to offer. There will be more great overnight trips, interesting programs at our members’ meetings, and all-around friendship in a community of folks who enjoy outdoor adventures in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
In these days of rising inflation, being a member remains a great value. The cost for membership is unchanged at just $30 for single or $40 for family level. Besides member-exclusive access to overnight trips, there are discounts at local merchants and through affiliated organizations that can easily pay for the cost. In addition, there are even more incentives and freebies for those willing to volunteer to lead day tours or overnight trips, please step up.

The Club’s activity and liability waiver has been updated. It now includes a consent for digital imaging. And there is a section on COVID-19 that replaces the separate stand-alone waiver of the past few years. The great news of this is that the waiver is now online and part of the renewal process. This eliminates all the paper we used to collect all of the time. Sign it once at renewal and you’re done for the year!
When you elect to renew, you’ll first be asked to sign the waiver, then select your membership level, pay via Paypal, and update any of your account info. Family members will need to sign the waiver separately, but again, all done online and just a single time for the year. Reminders will be sent as needed, but please sign as soon as possible to avoid the extra effort.Renewing keeps you in active status through the end of August 2023.
