Twin Lakes Loop – Intermediate

This trip will start at Barlow Pass SnoPark and go down the PCT to the cutoff trail to upper Twin Lake. From the upper lake we will proceed down to lower Twin Lake then loop back to the PCT and return to Barlow. The whole loop is approximately 9 miles on trail. It can be challenging based on length and depending on snow conditions. It can be done on almost any ski type but a backcountry ski with metal edges is best. There is some steep downhill on the descent to the lower lake which requires good edging and turning ability. Skins not required for this tour.
