Let’s ride bikes again and say good bye to the Springwater Corridor for a few months, June 28!
Following last week’s successful Summer Solstice ride and concert on Sauvie Island, let’s ride the Springwater Corridor Trail for the last time before the trail closes for five months for major work on the large-scale habitat enhancement project to benefit wildlife in the Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge. We will start at Sellwood Riverfront Park, ride for about one to one and a half hours (depending on participants), then head to the food carts in Sellwood for dinner on Tacoma Street. It should be a pleasant evening. Bring water and bicycle repair kit (pump, patch, spare tube, etc.); helmets are required. Meet at parking lot at Sellwood Park next to Oaks Park Amusement Park at 5:30 p.m. to ride. For more info contact the leader: Ted Scheinman 503.914.9584 tedskier@gmail.com.
