WHERE: Walton Lake
Walton Sno-Park, Ochoco National Forest

Join us for this always fun camping/trail tending adventure at Walton Lake in Ochoco National Forest, just east of Prineville!  The trails need our TLC (Trail Limbing and Clearing).  The area is famous for beautiful big pines and bands of roaming wild horses that we almost always see.

Fun fact:  The photo of volunteers on the main website page is from a previous campout in the area.

What to bring:  Bring your camp gear, meals, plus 12 essentials.  Bring a comfortable pair of gloves to protect your hands (gardening gloves are ok).  Wear long pants, a long sleeved shirt, hiking boots and protective eye wear.  Dress for the weather; it could be hot, cold, windy, rainy, or any and all in the same day.  Have bug repellent and sunscreen.  Don’t forget a small backpack with lunches and snacks as you are sure to work up an appetite, and lots of water.  More details and carpool info to follow.

Sign up below – select the number of spaces for all of the people in your party and provide their contact information where indicated.  Note to members – please sign in to make a reservation.
