Join us to help maintain the Kalama ski trail. Meet at Jantzen Beach at the north end of the Target parking lot at 8 am sharp. We will work until about 2:30 pm with return to Portland about 5 pm.
Most trail tending work parties involve light brushing, tree limbing, and the hanging of blue diamonds. We’ll supply the tools and hardhats. Sign up below – select the number of spaces for all of the people in your party and provide their contact information where indicated.
What to bring: Bring a comfortable pair of gloves to protect your hands (gardening gloves work well). Wear long pants, a long sleeved shirt, hiking boots and protective eye wear. Dress for the weather; it could be hot, cold, windy, rainy, or any and all in the same day. Have bug repellent and sunscreen. Finally, bring small backpack with a lunch and snacks as you are sure to work up an appetite, and lots of water.
