TURKEY — Cultural Crossroads: Steve Levy and Sue Van Loon
Description:
Steve Levy and Sue Van Loon present a program on their trip to Turkey, journeying by local bus from Istanbul, with its Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace to the classical ruins of Troy, Pergamum and Ephesus; from the crystalline, travertine terraces of Pammukale to the trails, mountains, villages and bays of the Turquoise Coast, where evidence of ancient civilizations contrast sharply with 21st century modernity.
When: Second Tuesday, 6:30pm – 8:30pm.
Where: Multnomah Arts Center, 7688 SW Capitol Hwy, Portland
Find us in Room #30 in the Senior Center
(park in back of the building and enter through the doors on the right that say Senior Center)

6:30 pm: Potluck. Bring a dish to share, eating utensils, and a drink if you wish
7:15 pm: Short Club Meeting
7:30ish pm – 8:30 pm: Program – An interesting topic from one of our distinguished featured speakers. Come join us!
8:30ish: Please stay a bit to help us put the room back together; we have to vacate by 9 pm.
