About the program:

Exploring Moroccan Geography – the Sahara and High Atlas, and Pandemic Climb of Mount Rainier

Keith Daellenbach will share a family adventure to Morocco in 2023 as they trekked on camel into the Sahara and climbed Toubkal (13,672 feet), the highest peak in the High Atlas Mountains of North Africa.  He will present what they learned of Morocco’s largely Islamic faith and indigenous food, culture, geography and history.  He will also share a climb of Mount Rainier’s Emmons Glacier with his teenage son and a long-time friend during the depths of the COVID-19 pandemic in summer 2020.

Hope to see you in person or online!
