Thrive Hood River and The Oregon Nordic Club – PDX Chapter invite you to join us for a naturalist guided hike up the Tilly Jane Ski Trail #643. This intermediate trail was first cut in 1938 and climbs 1900 vertical feet towards Cloud Cap. The beautiful 5.5 mile up and back hike passes through the forest that would be heavily impacted by any potential destination resort development, the regrowth from the Gnarl Ridge fire, and into the Tilly Jane Historic District.
Pack a lunch to enjoy at Tilly Jane A-Frame while the hike leaders share information on the history and ecology of the North side and answer questions about the Mt. Hood Land Trade and current efforts to Keep Mt. Hood Wild.
