Join us as we work to rebuild the cabin after decades of deferred maintenance. Phase 4 work includes: replacing the cedar wall shakes, installing installing a new composting toilet and rebuilding the Guard Station garage among other tasks.
No experience necessary. We’ll be led by our Master Builder from Wells Construction.
Meet at the cabin at 9am. Bring your work boots, gloves, lunch, and any personal items you’ll need. Don’t forget to dress appropriately based on the anticipated forecast. If you’d like to help for more than a day, bring your camping gear and stay over. The Guard Station will be open for groups wanting to stay over. Please RSVP for the days you’d like.
We need 4-6 volunteers per day. If you’ve got some flexibility, sign up for a day that has less RSVP’s.
All volunteers will earn a stay at one of the club/volunteer weekends next winter (Jan-April 2020).
The road will be open so you’ll be able to drive up to the cabin. Sign up for 1, 2, 3, or up to all 6 spots. Be the leader and recruit your friends and family. We’re counting on you so please don’t sign up if you can’t commit to attending. The planning and funding of this project includes volunteer labor to offset the rehab costs so it’s critical that each spot is filled.
THE CABIN NEEDS YOU, PLEASE GIVE BACK FOR ALL THAT TJ HAS GIVEN YOU!
