David Burdick: Ski Mountaineering: Circumnavigation of Mt. Baker
This ski tour explores one of the larger West Coast mountains—Mt. Baker, in the Northern Cascades. We spent two days on the twenty-five mile circumnavigation experiencing spectacular vistas from all sides of Mt. Baker. The group gained a total of 7,800 feet, crossed nine glaciers, and had one near-fatal crevasse fall.
