Volunteers are needed for the Pacific NW’s favorite snow sports event held at the Oregon Convention Center, Snowvana. Sign up for two-to-three-hour volunteer shifts to help promote ONC-PDX at the show and gain free admission. Choose between the ONC-PDX booth or in the Kid’s Zone at the Learn to Ski Ramp. Select the number of people coming to help.
The two jobs are as follows:
ONC Booth Volunteers should welcome visitors to the booth and introduce them to the Oregon Nordic Club, Portland Chapter and our activities. Please come to your shift 15 minutes early so you can review a sheet of information about the club. You should energetically connect with visitors to the Backcountry Pavilion.
Volunteers at the Kids Zone and Ski Ramp should be willing to help kids put on skis and walk with them as they ski up and down the ramp. You will also help Next Adventure with the registration and children’s ski giveaway, as they request. Please arrive for your shift 15 minutes early.
