SUMMARY:Wednesday Tour Group - location TBD
DESCRIPTION:I will be the tour leader this week after returning from Baker 
 City where there is lots of ice in town and great snow at Anthony Lakes. T
 he weather at this time is light snow and just below freezing at Mt Hood o
 n Wednesday. Several inches of fresh snow is expected earlier in the week.
  Again Portland weather could be the issue that causes a cancellation. Col
 der air along with some moisture is expected mid-week. The timing and and 
 how the two systems meet is not well defined at this time. A winter weathe
 r event could happen as early as Tuesday night or Wednesday. Thursday seem
 s more likely right now from what I read.  My current thinking is to ski e
 ither Pocket Creek or White River. White River is quite exposed so if wind
  is present it is not a good choice. A cancellation as late as Tuesday nig
 ht is possible this week if driving across Portland looks real difficult o
 n Wednesday morning or afternoon. Email me if you are interested in skiing
  Wednesday. An update will be emailed to that list Tuesday by dinner time.
  The group will meet at Edgefield in Troutdale leaving at 9 AM from the we
