SUMMARY:Victoria and Vancouver Island Bike Trip 2026
DESCRIPTION:A Great Bike Trip Continues!\nThe famous July 4th bike trip is 
 going back to Victoria\, Canada! Plans are to drive to Port Angeles on We
 dnesday\, July 2\, take the 12:45 pm (or 5:15 pm) ferry to Victoria with o
 nly our bicycles (current valid passport required for entry to/from Canada
 ).\n\nWe will check in at our rooms at the University of Victoria in Victo
 ria (in single bedrooms in suites with bathrooms and kitchens). For the ne
 xt three days\, we will ride bicycles on Vancouver Island – The Gallopin
 g Goose Trail\, the Lochside Trail\, the Interurban Rail Trail\, and possi
 bly more. Then we will take the 10:30 AM ferry back to Port Angeles on Mon
 day\, July 6 and drive back to Portland. T\n\nThe cost for lodging is only
  $405 per person — a real bargain for Victoria!  We plan to have at lea
 st one potluck dinner – perhaps more.  You can sign up below starting W
 ednesday\, May 6 by 8 AM.  Limit is 16 people – this trip usually sells

 it: 16 participants\, including trip leaders.\nCost: $405 per person for 4
  nights lodging\, single occupancy in suites at University of Victoria dor
 mitories. No double rooms are available - couples need to book two spaces.
   Ferry costs (passenger &amp\; bike cost of about $25 each way) and carp
 ool costs are extra.\nCarpool miles: From Portland\, approximately 360 mil
