DESCRIPTION:July 8 – July 12\, 2019\, Monday – Friday\, All level bicyc
 le trip Enjoy Biking Vancouver Island!This year\, the famous annual summer
  bike trip will be held July 8 – 12\, after the July 4th crowds have dep
 arted. &nbsp\;We are going to Victoria\, Canada! &nbsp\;Plans are to drive
  to Port Angeles early on Monday\, July 8\, take the 12:15 PM ferry to Vic
 toria with only our bicycles. &nbsp\;After we ride our bikes the short dis
 tance to our two houses near Oak Bay\, we will spend the next four days ri
 ding bicycles on Vancouver Island – The Galloping Goose Trail\, the Loch
 side Trail\, the Interurban Rail Trail\, Butchart Gardens\, and more. &nbs
 p\;Eating meals is available in the houses or we can enjoy the wonderful d
 ining in Victoria. We may have some potlucks in the fully furnished kitche
 ns. We will divide into several groups depending on skill levels\, enduran
 ce\, and interests. Then on Friday\, we will take the 10:30 AM ferry back 
 to Port Angeles and drive back to Portland. &nbsp\;The cost for lodging is
  only $175 per person. &nbsp\;For further information\, please contact the

 &nbsp\;Sign-ups are now available\, you can sign up on the ONC Website (pr
 eferred) or contact the leader to pay by check. Limit is 14 people (includ
 ing the leader).&nbsp\; Please note\, a current valid passport is required
  for border crossing.There are 4 queen beds (2 persons per bed)\, and 6 si
 ngle beds between the two houses. In addition to the lodging\, the ferry f
 rom Port Angeles to Victoria costs approximately $51 per person and bicycl
 e round trip to be paid separately.
