DESCRIPTION:Mar 11-13\, Fri-Sun Intermediate Backcountry SkiWe’ll backcou
 ntry ski to the ONC-PDX managed shelter on the Northeast side of Mt. Hood\
 , a 3 mile ski with a 1\,900-foot gain up the Tilly Jane Ski Trail to the 
 cabin at 5\,700 feet elevation. Participants carry their own gear\, includ
 ing sleeping bags\, pad\, and food for all meals. We have a wood stove for
  cooking meals or heating water. Participants can also bring their own sto
 ve and cooking pots. Experienced intermediate skiing skills with turning a
 bility\, good physical condition and navigation/route finding skills using
  map\, compass or GPS. Climbing skins are required.Trip Limit: 20 max\, Op
 en to all ONC members and TJ cabin volunteersCost: Free (another club bene
