DESCRIPTION:Intermediate Back Country SkiWe’ll back country ski to the ON
 C-PDX managed shelter on the Northeast side of Mt. Hood\, a 3 mile ski wit
 h a 1\,900-foot gain up the Tilly Jane Ski Trail to the cabin at 5\,700 fe
 et elevation. Participants carry their own gear\, including sleeping bags\
 , pad\, and food for all meals. We have a wood stove for cooking or heatin
 g water. Participants might also bring their own stove and cooking pots. E
 xperienced intermediate skiing skills with turning ability\, good physical
  condition and navigation/route finding skills using map\, compass or GPS.
  Climbing skins are REQUIRED.Trip Limit: 15 max\, Open to all ONC members 
 and Tilly Jane volunteersCost: Free (another club benefit). Booking priori
