SUMMARY:Tilly Jane A-Frame Cabin\, Mt. Hood\, OR
DESCRIPTION:Intermediate Back Country Ski\n\nFriday and Saturday night stay
  in the historic Tilly Jane A-Frame cabin. Park at the Tilly Jane Trailhea
 d parking area. You’ll back country ski to the ONC-PDX managed shelter o
 n the Northeast side of Mt. Hood\, a 3 mile ski with a 1\,900-foot gain up
  the Tilly Jane Ski Trail to the cabin at 5\,700 feet elevation. Experienc
 ed intermediate skiing skills with turning ability\, good physical conditi
 on and navigation/route finding skills using map\, compass or GPS. Climbin
 g skins are REQUIRED.\n\nParticipants carry their own gear\, including sle
 eping bags\, sleeping pad\, toilet paper\, propane for lanterns\, and food
  for all meals. Water is obtained from the Tilly Jane Creek or by melting 
 snow. We have a wood stove with plenty of firewood\, and pots for heating 
 water. Participants might also bring their own cooking stove and pots for 
 meal preparation.\n\nThis is a cabin maintenance work weekend. Attendees a
 re limited to volunteers and ONC-PDX members and their guests\, who will p
 articipate in minor cabin activities including checking smoke detectors\, 
 wood supply\, making kindling\, rodent control\, cleaning the cabin and an
 y repairs as identified.&nbsp\;\n\nPlease Note: No DOGS are allowed at thi
 s cabin.\n\nTrip Limit: 15 people max\, Open to ONC-PDX members and 2023 T
 illy Jane Volunteers\nCost: Free. Booking priority will be given to 2023 T
