 : Let's enjoy a SUPERb ski outing on February 12th at Mt. Hood on a rare d
 ay with less traffic and crowds! Depending on conditions\, we'll ski the C
 rosstown Loop and Summit trails in Government Camp and potluck hearty snac
 ks at the Glacier View parking lot afterwards. We might even dance! Plan B
  would be meeting and skiing at Trillium Lake. You would be notified if lo
 w snow on the Crosstown Loop forces us to switch to Trillium Lake.\n\nTour
  Difficulty: Intermediate. Approximate length of the outing at either SnoP
 ark is 5 miles. Terrain: Mostly flat or a gentle grade. We would ski at a 
 relaxed pace.\n\nPlease come prepared for wintry conditions---carrying pro
 per gear and clothes\, and adequate water---and bring a lunch or snacks fo
 r a break at the midway point at the Summit Lodge. This is where we will c
 ross Highway 26 on foot to reach the Summit Trailhead\, recrossing it once
  again at the end to return to Glacier View.\n\nFor the potluck\, please b
 ring a hearty snack to share with the group. This could be nuts\, cut frui
 t\, vegetables and dip\, cheese and crackers\, olives\, etc. Enough for ab
 out 6-8 persons. Also\, pack your own drink\, a plate and table service fo
