  is perhaps the prime ski time to hit the multiple ski trails in and aroun
 d Mt. Bachelor\, all in a half day’s drive from Portland.&nbsp\; With sn
 o-parks galore\, plus the Bachelor Nordic Center\, it gives us a lot to ch
 oose from including groomed trails\, skating\, and backcountry terrain to 
 test your ability.&nbsp\; Perfect for everyone from an easy ski to interme
 diate and advanced.&nbsp\; Keep the options open too because the area has 
 great hiking\, biking\, and other sites nearby.&nbsp\; Our spacious accomm
 odations (5BR/4BA) features a hot tub\, fireplace\, BBQ\, pool passes\, an
 d more.&nbsp\; The resort itself offers restaurants\, art and gift shops\,
  ski and bike rentals\, and local supermarkets.&nbsp\; Explore the area wi
 th a walk or bike ride on the paved paths to the village center\, watch th
 e wildlife around the Deschutes River\, catch a night light show at the Or
 egon Observatory\, or just relax after a satisfying day on the trails.&nbs
 p\; Our rental gives us a bonus night to extend our stay on into Tuesday f
 or added skiing fun.We will carpool from Portland and to the ski areas eac
 h day\, about 20 miles from our house.&nbsp\; Dinners are infamous ONC pot
 luck style.&nbsp\; Everyone does their own breakfast and lunch.&nbsp\; Oth
 er than sno-park permits for drivers\, we can ski for free on most of the 
 trails\, pay for the groomed trails at the Nordic Center\, or by donation 
 at Virginia Meissner.Trip limit: 10 participants (includes trip leader).Co
