SUMMARY:Sunriver January Weekend Ski Trip
DESCRIPTION:Sunriver\, OR\nJan 22 - 25\, Thu-Sun\nAll levels of skiing – 
 but you must not ski alone!\n\nThe end of January is a perfect time to ski
  Central Oregon! Usually\, the dry snow is great for skiing the trails aro
 und Mt. Bachelor—Swampy Lakes\, Todd Lake\, Dutchman Flats\, Broken Top
 —or on groomed ski trails at Mt. Bachelor Nordic or Virginia Meisner. Th
 ere is usually adequate snow at this time of year and quite a relief from 
 “Cascade Concrete!”\n\nBy starting on Thursday\, we will be able to ac
 commodate those who work (by leaving after work on Thursday and taking onl
 y Friday off) and those who have flexible schedules. We can ski on the way
  over or back at trails leaving from Ray Benson Sno-Park at Santiam Pass o
 r Maxwell Sno-Park on Highway 22.\n\nWe will stay at a luxury house at Bal
 sam Lane #4\, with 4 bedrooms plus a loft\, three rooms with queen beds\, 
 two rooms with a total of four beds\, 3 bathrooms\, a hot tub\, and discou
 nted passes to SHARC. Full kitchen\, living room\, and new deck. We are lo
 cated relatively close to Sunriver Village—hopefully we can ski there fo
 r our morning donuts! Board games can keep us entertained\, so we probably
  don’t need the four TVs all the time.\n\nWe will plan to have potluck d
 inners on Friday and Saturday nights.There is also the opportunity to go i
 nto Bend\, if you wish.\n\nTrip limit:  10 participants including trip le
 ader\nCost:  $170 per member/person. Includes 3 nights lodging.\nTravel m
 iles: From Portland\, 380 miles round trip\, plus mileage to the ski areas
