 ate to Advanced Classic and Skate skiing\n\nSun Valley\, located in the Sa
 wtooth Mountains\, is often called the Alps of America. It’s surrounded 
 by five distinct mountain ranges with gorgeous alpine scenery\, bright sun
 shine\, and over 200 km of world-class Nordic trails.\n\nSun Valley Resort
  and Blaine County Recreation District (BCRD) grooms and maintains Nordic 
 trail systems for classic and skate skiing. A BCRD Nordic pass provides ac
 cess to over 140 km of skiing on Harriman Trail\, the North Valley Trails\
 , Galena\, and the Quigley trails. The Sun Valley Resort Nordic pass can b
 e used on Sun Valley’s 40 km of trails. The free 32 km Wood River Trail

 un-valley/\n\nWe will stay in a “cozy grandma house” called Board's Wa
 rm Springs Inn\, which is 5 miles from the Sun Valley resort and minutes t
 o the nearest trailheads. There will be room for eight people with two roo
 ms with queen beds and two rooms with twin beds.\n\nTransportation options
 : Carpool from Portland on Saturday\, February 28\, return on Thursday\, M
 arch 5\, round-trip 1\,200 miles. Or fly PDX to SUN (check out Alaska Airl
 ines). Note—if we all fly\, we can rent cars to get us to the trailheads
  and split the cost.\n\nTrip limit:  8 participants\, including trip lead
 ers\nCost:  $290 per member/person for 5 nights lodging. Trail fees\, tra
