DESCRIPTION: Saturday – Sunday\, Intermediate and Advanced SkiThe Canadia
 n Rockies provide some of the most scenic skiing on the planet and on this
  trip we’ll ski right into the heart of the Rockies as we spend three ni
 ghts in the historic Skoki Lodge\, a national historic site. It is rustic 
 and isolated. So rustic that it has outhouses and doesn’t have electrici
 ty. So isolated that the only way in is to ski 11 km through the backcount
 ry. You’ll need to be an intermediate skier to make it into this lodge. 
 Six of us will share a cabin\, sleeping on bunk beds and cots for three ni
 ghts. Clearly not the Ritz-Carlton but Skoki does make up for these hardsh
 ips by providing excellent meals and access to some of the best skiing in 
 the Rockies. Depending on abilities\, we’ll explore the bowls or canyons
  around the lodge. Short of snow camping in a tent there is no better way 
 to experience this wilderness.Since we’ve made the drive all the way up 
 to Lake Louise\, after Skoki we’ll kick back by staying four more nights
  at a condo in the Canmore area. From here we can enjoy the usual skiing t
 he Rockies offer with everything from world-class skate skiing to downhill
  and in between.Trip limit: 6 participants (includes the leader and co-lea
 der)Cost: $675/member\, per person. Includes eight days accommodations and
  food while at Skoki lodge\, but does not cover food while in condo. Not i
 ncluded is the hotel on drive up\, carpooling costs (1\,500 miles\, aprox.
