SUMMARY:Shelter Cove Resort Weekend
DESCRIPTION:\nOdell Lake\, ORFeb. 8-11\, Thu-SunAll Abilities Ski\; We will
  have some snowshoe opportunities too!\n\n\n\nHigh up in the Cascades east
  of Eugene lies Willamette Pass and the beautiful Odell Lake situated at 4
 \,800 feet\, so there is plenty of snow plus great scenery. We will stay i
 n the deluxe Kokanee Lodges at Shelter Cove Resort on Odell Lake. Each of 
 the two units sleeps 10 but we are limiting them to seven with one king ro
 om\, one queen\, and a room with 3 bunk beds. We will have beautiful views
  right on the shore of Odell Lake.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nThere are a number of goo
 d ski routes near the Pengra Pass ski area\, the trails to Gold Lake\, sma
 ller trails right around Shelter Cove Resort\, and the incredible Maklaks 
 loops. It’s possible to ski up to the Pacific Crest Trail and visit the 
 Maiden Peak Shelter.&nbsp\; Willamette Pass Ski Area has 22 km of groomed 
 XC trails as well as lift skiing\, trail fees required there. We have had 
 snow up to our hips at this resort on past trips on a gorgeous high mounta
 in lake\, just three hours from Portland. Russ and Becky will organize and
  lead one or more off trail/backcountry tours during the trip if condition
 s permit. Details will be discussed at a meeting each evening of the trip.
 \n\n\n\nWe will eat individually on arrival night\, Thursday because peopl
 e arrive at different times. You can also BYO dinner and use the kitchen o
 r eat in Oakridge on the way up.&nbsp\; On Friday and Saturday we will org
 anize potlucks. Bring your own breakfast and lunch foods. The kitchen come
 s equipped with most items and includes a microwave\, but some supplies co
 uld be in short supply so if you need it bring it.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nTrip limi
 t: 12 participants\, including the trip leadersCost: $200 per person for 3
  nights lodging.&nbsp\; Not included: travel expenses and meals.Carpool mi
 les: 360 miles round trip from Portland plus mileage to Sno-Parks&nbsp\;&n
