Odell Lake is situated at 4\,800 feet\, so t here is plenty of snow plus great scenery. We will stay at Shelter Cove Re sort in the in the large two-unit Kokanee Lodge. \; Each unit comforta bly sleeps 6 with one king room\, one queen\, and a \; room with bunkb eds. \; Beautiful views right on the shore of Odell Lake.\n\nThere are a number of good ski routes near the Pengra ski area\, the trails to Gold Lake\, smaller trails right around Shelter Cove Resort\, and the incredib le Maklaks loops. Willamette Pass Ski Area has 22 km of beautifully groome d trails\, however there are trail fees. Come experience a real winter in this beautiful snow-laden resort on a gorgeous high mountain lake.\n\nTues day dinner is on your own. There are some restaurants on your way in Oakri dge and some small pubs and restaurants within 6-10 miles of the resort. T here are also some small pubs nearby. But check out hours of operation bef ore you leave. We will potluck on Wednesday and Thursday for dinner. All b reakfasts and lunches are on your own.
