Odell Lake is situated at 4\,800 feet\, so there is plenty of snow plus great scenery. We will stay in the Kokanee Lodge C and D units at Shelter Cove Resort. \; Each unit comfortably sleeps 6 wit h one king room\, one queen\, and a \; room with bunk beds. \; Bea utiful views right on the shore of Odell Lake. \;\n\nThere are a numbe r of good ski routes near the Pengra ski area\, the trails to Gold Lake\, smaller trails right around Shelter Cove Resort\, and the incredible Makla ks loops. Willamette Pass Ski Area has 22 km of beautifully groomed trails \, however there are trail fees. Come experience a real winter in this bea utiful snow-laden resort on a gorgeous high mountain lake. \;\n\nWe wi ll potluck on Saturday and Sunday evenings. On Friday you can eat in on yo ur own\, or there are restaurants in Oakridge on your way and a couple sma ll country pubs within 10 miles of the resort. Bring your own breakfast an d lunch foods.
