DESCRIPTION:This is an opportunity of a lifetime! Let’s go to where cross
 -country skiing began! You have always wanted to do this trip and here is 
 your opportunity.We will fly to Oslo in the late afternoon of Thursday\, M
 arch 19\, arriving late on afternoon\, where we will stay overnight at Ank
 er Hostel in Oslo. On Saturday morning\, we will travel by train from Oslo
  to Otta and take a special bus to Haukliseter\, from where we will begin 
 our tour from mountain lodge to mountain lodge in the Rondane National Par
 k. These mountain lodges have electricity\, dining facilities with huge me
 als\, rooms with beds and blankets\, saunas\, and sometimes hot showers. Y
 ou only need to carry your clothes and personal gear in your pack. We will
  stay for a more than one night at one of the lodges so we can explore are
 as around the lodge.It is not necessary to be expert skiers to come on thi
 s trip\; this is not a technically difficult trip. You should have interme
 diate-level cross-country skills and ability to ski up to 15 miles per day
  (although most days are much shorter). Most of the trails are fairly gent
 le through valleys with mountains on either side. The trails are well mark
 ed with flags and there are many Norwegians skiing during this time period
 . We will join the Norwegian DNT (mountain climbing association) for one o
 f their organized tours with a professional guide.Cost: TBD\, total cost i
