DESCRIPTION:Bend area\, OR\nFeb. 12 - 15\, Fri - Mon\nAll Abilities Ski (mo
 stly groomed trails) or Snowshoe\nJoin us for two days of skiing over the 
 President’s weekend.&nbsp\; This is prime time skiing in the Central Cas
 cades.&nbsp\; Weather permitting we have options to ski the groomed trails
  at Mount Bachelor Nordic Center (56 km of groomed trails) or Virginia Mei
 ssner (40 km of groomed trails) in addition to the ungroomed trails around
  Swampy Lakes. Both Virginia Meissner and Swampy Lakes offer snowshoeing o
 pportunities.&nbsp\; This trip requires a minimum of two people for snowsh
 oeing to ensure safety. This trip is using the new hotel model for accommo
 dations.&nbsp\;\n\nWe will be staying in Bend and have dinners out\, or if
  preferred the hotel has both a refrigerator and microwave in-suite for th
 ose who are interested in eating in their room.&nbsp\; A block of rooms ha
 s been reserved for this trip and participants will pay the hotel directly
 . For those who can leave Portland Friday morning\, there is an option to 
 ski before we check into the hotel as well as skiing on Monday before retu
 rning home.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\n\nTrip limit: &nbsp\;8 participants @ single oc
 cupancy including trip leader.\nCost:&nbsp\; $10/member registration on ON
 C-PDX website. &nbsp\; Pay the registration fee and contact the leader for
  info about booking the rooms.&nbsp\; Lodging $243/member\, per person\, s
 ingle occupancy.&nbsp\; Includes 3 nights lodging. You will have a room to
  yourself or arrange to share with someone and split the price.&nbsp\; Tra
 il pass fees\, Sno-Park permit and meals not included\, except free breakf
 ast from the hotel.&nbsp\;\nTravel miles:&nbsp\; 350 miles roundtrip from
