DESCRIPTION:After speaking with the Mt. Adams Ranger District today\, I lea
 rned that they have not groomed the trails at Old Man Pass and with the ex
 pected weather there this weekend (rain)\, they do not expect to do so thi
 s week. As a result\, I am going to postpone this trip until the trails an
 d weather are better.In the meantime\, I STRONGLY recommend taking the ONC
  Ski Bus this Saturday to ski with the club and to avoid driving through G
 overnment Camp. There is PLENTY of room available. You may sign up on this
  website. Be sure to log in as a member and register for the bus.TedAre yo

 ant a quieter place to ski? Let's plan to ski in the Gifford Pinchot Natio
 nal Forest at Old Man Pass. This is a loop ski\, using Trails 150 and 148\
 , which are usually groomed. Start at Old Man Pass Sno-Park\, head past th
 e McClellan Sno-Park\, cross the road\, then return passing Koshko Sno-Par
 k. Total distance is about 3-4 miles with options for another 1.3 miles.Me
