  Japan would be appropriate.\nHakuba\, site of the 1996 Nagano Winter Olym
 pics and famed for its powder snow\, was the destination.\nSince it was Ja
 pan\, the celebrated snow monkeys of Nagano were irresistible\, as were th
 e temples of Kyoto\, and the urban wonders of Tokyo.\n\nSteve will share p
