  best Backcountry Ski Trips\n\nOregon outdoor guru Bill Sullivan takes us 
 on a tour of the state's best\nbackcountry ski adventures\, from a winter 
 visit to Crater Lake\nto a snow camp in the heart of the Three Sisters Wil
 derness.\nA fifth-generation Oregonian\, Sullivan has written a dozen book
 s about\nOregon's outdoors\, as well as two books on Oregon history\, thre
 e adventure\nmemoirs\, and eight novels. His journal\, "Listening for Coyo
 te" was chosen by\nthe Oregon Cultural Heritage Commission as one of the 1
 00 most significant\nbooks in the state's history. His "Atlas of Oregon Wi
 lderness" describes nearly\n200 Nordic ski and snowshoe trips. His five-vo
 lume series of "100 Hikes"\nguidebooks cover virtually every trail in the
