Plan for potluck dinners each evening with each household hos ting dinners on different nights.\n\n\n\nMethow is the mecca for XC skiers worldwide. It is ideally suited for both classic track skiing and skate s kiing (and snowshoeing). The Methow Valley Association grooms over 120 mil es of trails through the communities of Winthrop and Mazama. \; Trail elevations range from 2\,000 to 4\,000 feet. The snow conditions and trail quality make the Methow valley a skier’s dream.\n\n\n\nIf you have cons idered learning to skate ski\, lessons are available at Sun Mountain and i n Mazama. Usually\, there is a unique ski demonstration of old-time skiers and their equipment on New Year’s Day. \; For a break from skiing\, there is even a wonderful ice-skating rink in town!\n\n\n\nIf online sign up shows the trip as full\, please join the waitlist online or email the trip leader.
