DESCRIPTION:December 28–January 2\, Mon. – SatAll Ability Skate and Tra
 ck SkiMethow Valley is an outstanding\, unique area that is ideally suited
  for both classic track skiing and skate skiing. The Methow valley associa
 tion grooms over 200 kilometers of trail through the communities of Winthr
 op and Mazama. Trail elevations range from 2000 to 4000 feet. The snow con
 ditions and trail quality makes the Methow valley a skate skier's Mecca. T
 he recent fires in the area did NOT affect the Methow Valley and they are 
 ready for our visit!We’ll stay in luxury condominiums in Winthrop with f
 ull accommodations. Plan for potluck dinners that we prepare in the fully 
 equipped kitchens. Restaurants are always an option and are within skiing 
 distance along with grocery and convenience stores.If you have considered 
 learning to skate ski\, lessons are available at Sun Mountain and in Mazam
 a. In the past\, several participants liked their new-found skill so much 
 they decided to keep the rented skate skis for the entire trip. Speaking o
 f skating\, there is even an ice skating rink in town.Trip limit: 12 parti
 cipants (including leader)Cost: $250 per person\, includes five nights lod
