 Halfway between Santiam Pass and Sisters\, the very popular Lake Creek Lod
 ge in the Deschutes National Forest boasts quaint\, rustic cabins paneled 
 in knotty pine\, fireplaces\, full kitchens\, a creek coursing thru the gr
 ounds\, and the ideal ambiance for an XC ski holiday.&nbsp\; Check out the
  website at www.lakecreeklodge.com. This is a couple miles directly north 
 of Black Butte. We can even hike along the Metolius and watch the otters f
 rolicking in the river.We'll carpool over on Friday\, ski all day Saturday
  then have a traditional ONC potluck dinner on Saturday. Sunday we can do 
 creative leftovers or dine at the Lodge. We'll return Monday but stopping 
 first Maxwell Butte sno-park to enjoy many miles of trail. The ski options
  are many and the group will decide on:&nbsp\; groomed trails/skating\, an
 d/or backcountry. Santiam Pass\, Mt. Bachelor area\, Dutchman Flats\, Tam 
 MacArthur Rim\, and if we're lucky at 3000 ft. elevation\, right out the d
 oor of our cabins.&nbsp\; Separate rooms for couples/genders. Lodging is t
