DESCRIPTION:Meet at 8:30 AM at the Best Western Ponderosa Lodge in SistersT
 he John Craig Event will not include a ski to McKenzie Pass this year\, be
 cause Hwy 242 is closed to all travel due to wildfires last summer.&nbsp\;
 &nbsp\;As a substitute\, the Willamette Chapter is leading&nbsp\;a ski tou
 r north of Santiam Pass or on trails at Ray Benson SnoPark.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;T
 he tour is unsupported\; bring your own supplies and ski at your own risk.
 &nbsp\;&nbsp\;Skiers could also visit the groomed Nordic tracks at Hoodoo\
 , which have excellent mountain views.The John Craig Pizza Feed and Potluc
 k will be held after the ski tour\; 3:00 pm\, at the Best Western Ponderos
 a Lodge in Sisters.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;The John Day Award will be presented at t
 his time.
