SUMMARY:John Craig McKenzie Pass Ski Tour and Pizza Party
DESCRIPTION:Join statewide ONC members on the annual McKenzie Pass ski tour
  over groomed track from the snow gate on the east side of McKenzie Pass H
 ighway 242 up to the Dee Wright Observatory. Meet at the Ponderosa Inn at 
 8:30 to carpool or at the snow gate at 9:00. Distance to the Observatory i
 s about 13 miles round trip with 2200' elevation gain\, taking 4-6 hours. 
 Turnaround at Windy Point\, with its spectacular view of the immense lava 
 flow atop the pass\, is about 8 miles total\, taking 3-4 hours. After the 
 tour there will be a pizza party provided by the state ONC at Takoda's Res
 taurant in Sisters.Event flyer
