DESCRIPTION:This route strings together a number of trails in Government Ca
 mp area to provide a very solid intermediate level tour. (“Solid” in t
 he distance we cover in the day but not terribly difficult technically.)  
 In this big loop we hit most of the popular government camp trails includi
 ng crosstown\, tie snow bunny and summit trails. The distance is 12 miles 
 with 1\,400 feet total elevation gain.  You need to have good fitness for 
 this tour\, plan on being on the snow for more than six hours.\n\nTo be on
  this tour you must contact me by e-mail in advance.  I do this so that I 
 can send each potential participant an info packet with more info on diffi
 culty and expectations for this tour. Additionally\, I want all your e-mai
 l addresses so that in case the trip is cancelled I can contact everyone.
