Santiam Pass at 4\,817 ft. is about 12 miles away with lots o f ski loops and warming shelters. The Camp Sherman area nearby has skiing along the Metolius up to the river’s headwaters or up Black Butte. The T hree Creeks area near Sisters offers more choices and views. The Hoodoo sk i area is 13 miles away and has nearly 10 miles of groomed trails. Altoget her\, the surrounding area offers a variety of backcountry and groomed tra ils\, from novice to most difficult.
