 R\n\nThis is a really awesome all abilities trip. With 300 inches annual s
 nowfall\, the Anthony Lakes ski area near Baker City boasts the best powde
 r skiing in the Northwest. Both downhill and Nordic skiers come to enjoy t
 his pristine location at the north end of the Elkhorn mountains. The Nordi
 c center (6\,000 ft.) maintains 18 miles (30 km) of groomed trails at ever
 y level of difficulty. There’s also easy access to backcountry areas nea
 r the center\, often by starting at the top of the lift (7\,200 ft.).\n\nA
 nother skiing possibility is Dooley Pass south of Baker City\, showcasing 
 panoramic views of the valleys below.&nbsp\; Depending on time and weather
 \, we could stop and ski the groomed trails on our way to Baker from Emily
  Sno-Park at Meacham Divide just west of La Grande\, and maintained by one
  of our sister organizations\, The Blue Mountain Nordic Club.\n\nWe will b
 e staying at The Wunder House in Baker City\, making it an hour drive to A
 nthony Lakes. The highlights of the house are a HOT TUB and a MASSAGE CHAI
 R to pamper those tender muscles after a fun filled day of skiing.&nbsp\; 
 There is also a covered outdoor seating area with gas fireplace.&nbsp\; Th
 ere is 3400 sq ft. to relax and socialize in. With 5 bedrooms and 3 baths\
 , 3 doubles and 5 single beds available for a total of 11 participants. Br
 eakfast and lunches will be on your own\, but we’ll share nightly potluc
 ks. Trail passes for the groomed area and single ride lift tickets are ext
 ra but reasonable.\n\nTrip limit:&nbsp\; 11 participants including trip le
 ader\nCost: $185/member\, per person.&nbsp\; Includes 4 nights lodging.&nb
 sp\; Excludes cost of travel and meals.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\nCarpool miles:&nbsp
